It's Been Awhile and Happy Birthday Laura!

Kweku and I have been dog sitting. No, make that dog sitting TWO psycho dogs...we have for weeks. This morning we said adios to the beasts, which allows me the pleasure of blogging. Currently no dogs are trying to lick my feet, and I find that mildly exciting. And wait... no barking? It feels so good.

So BACK to our hike. Oh yes, I STILL have photos to share. One of the things that made our hike so special was my birthday dessert! Being as cake is REALLY hard to make up in the woods, and stuffing a cake in a pack does not bode well for presentation, Meghann and Chris made me a yummy birthday freeze dried raspberry crisp. Very tasty, and I felt loved!
