You support the war or you don't. In this city, it's that simple.
Peope ask you were you stand on the issue and they want it straight. They want to be right and they want you to agree with them. With Iraq bills floating around the House and Senate you need to keep a sharp eye on current events. At Starbucks I work with liberals. Everyday I work, I defend "Republicans." I feel that these photos represent the two parties quite well. The people in the brick house are FREE to put up the sign publically protesting the war. The wall below represents me, Freedom is Not Free. It NEVER was and NEVER will be. We have a flag hanging from our balcony, and I support our troops!

i enjoy the photo contrast. (and have enjoyed most previous photo entries). just thought i could make a comment about some of the previous comments/quotes. hope i'm not intruding :)
i don't think any american, liberal or conservative (except maybe the handful of ultra-pacifists on the extreme left outskirts) would disagree with any of these historical quotes about war - or would disagree that our freedom as americans hasn't come at the cost of brave men and women's lives. but you have to put these quotes in context. the issue with many of the anti-war followers right now (now being 2007 and not the american revolution or world war I), is whether or not the current war in iraq is worth putting these quotes next to. so when there is a sign that says "war is not the answer" it is not saying war is never the answer. it's saying the war in iraq right now is not the answer. and when a sign says "freedom isn't free" it isn't saying wage war every couple of years just because every now and then blood has to be spilt to water the tree of liberty.
